3 mois à Sarnia au Canada!

For my Canadians Friends:

Hi! Here is my last article of my blog and I’m going to write pretty much everything in English! I’m now in my room in Switzerland, two weeks after my departure and I miss you all so bad! My stay in Canada was the best experience of my life and I wanted to thank you all! You’re great persons, I really had a wonderful time with you and I will never forget you! Hopefully, I’ll come back pretty soon and will see you all again! I also want to talk to you about the wonderful gift you gave meat my goodbye party: the card… I really LOVE it, it’s so nice and such a good gift! So thank you for that too, that’s a good way to remember all of you. Every morning I wake up, see it and I think about you guys, who are still sleeping! It’s pretty strange now because it seems to me I’m closing the chapter of my life: Canada. Also, if one of you has a skype address, just let me know on facebook. That would be nice to talk again! Hi! In exactly one week now, I’m back in Switzerland… It’s amazing how the time goes fast. My departure is really soon and I don’t even know if I would prefer to leave or to stay. Today was one of my greatest days here! I went shopping with Vanessa in London at White Oak’s mall. I really loved this mall! I bought a new jacket for spring, 2 plaid shirts and a new hat! After the mall, we’ve been to East Side Mario’s to eat some Italian meal with her mother and her small sister. It’s was delicious and very nice! We drove back to Glencoe because Vanessa and her twin (Rachel) had a hockey game! I’ve stayed there to watch it and that was also great! It was the first hockey game I saw and I loved it! Finally, they drove me back around 9pm. Vanessa, if you are reading this, I just want to thank you again for this wonderful day and let you know I had a great time! I’m off! Bye

Hi! Dans exactement une semaine, je suis de retour en Suisse… C’est impressionnant comme le temps défile vite. Mon départ est vraiment proche et je ne sais même pas si je préfère rester ou partir. Appart ça, je viens de passer une de mes meilleures journées ici au canada ! Je suis allé à London avec Vanessa faire du shopping au White Oak’s mall. J’ai vraiment adoré cet endroit ! Je me suis acheté une nouvelle veste de printemps, deux chemises de bûcheron et un nouveau bonnet ! Après ça on est allé manger à l’East Side Mario’s avec sa mère et sa petite sœur. C’était délicieux et j’ai vraiment eu du plaisir ! On est ensuite allé à Glencoe car Vanessa et sa jumelle (Rachel) avaient un match de hockey. Je suis resté pour le regarder et c’était vraiment génial. C’était le premier match que je voyais de ma vie et j’ai adoré ! Finalement, elles m’ont reconduit à Alvinston aux environs de 21heures. Vanessa, si tu lis ça, je veux juste te remercier encore une fois pour cette merveilleuse journée et te dire que j’ai vraiment adoré ! J’y vais ! Bye

Hi! I have to tell you that this Saturday was quite strange. I woke up pretty late and I chilled in the house till Dean’s woke up. Conny learned that he failed his first report in math and she was really upset. She decided not to let him go to the party we were supposed to go in the evening. She was still okay to bring me to the party but I was really stressed because I wasn’t sure of where I was supposed to sleep and I was waiting for a call for Sunday. It shouldn’t have been a problem but she didn’t want to let us go on the computer which didn’t help at all. Finally, she drove me to the party and I talked with the people I was supposed to and everything was all right. The party was awesome. We were basically supposed to be around 10 but almost 20 persons came! I taught them how to say: Service, pétée and santé which was pretty fun because they shouted it all during the night! Their party aren’t really different than ours except they dance on a completely different style of music and drink their alcohol in red glasses. I went to sleep at Dan’s house at around 1am and slept directly because I was so tired! Bye

Hey! Il faut que je vous dise que ce samedi était assez bizarre. Je me suis réveillé assez tard et j’ai glandé dans la maison jusqu’à ce que Dean se réveille. Conny a appris que Dean avait eu un R (très mauvais) en math et était très énervée. Elle l’a privé d’aller à la fête où nous étions supposés aller le soir même. Heureusement elle était d’accord de m’y amener mais j’étais vraiment stressé car j’attendais des appels pour savoir si je pouvais dormir chez un ami ou pas et pour l’organisation de la journée de dimanche.  Ca n’aurait pas dû être un problème mais elle nous a aussi privés d’ordinateur ce qui n’aidait pas du tout. Finalement, elle m’a conduit à la fête, j’ai parlé aux gens concernés à propos de mon stress et tout était en ordre. La fête était vraiment géniale ! On était censé être environ 10 et au final il y avait 20 personnes. Je leurs ai appris à dire : Service, pétée et santé et c’était assez drôle car, ensuite, ils criaient ça toute la soirée. Leurs fêtes ne sont pas très différentes des nôtres si ce n’est qu’ils dansent sur de la musique complètement différente et qu’ils boivent dans des gobelets en plastique rouge. Je suis allé dormir à la maison de Dan aux alentours de 1h et me suis endormi directement car j’étais crevé ! Bye

Hi! I know I repeated it a lot of time, but it still had to realize how soon I leave Canada. It was my last Friday of school because the next one is a P.A. day and the students are free. Nothing exciting happened today so I guess I don’t have to write a lot! See you soon, I miss you! Bye

Hello! Je sais que je l’ai répété pleins de fois, mais c’est toujours dur de réaliser à quel point mon retour est proche! C’était mon dernier vendredi d’école car le prochain est un « P.A. day » et les étudiants ont congé. Hey! There are only 10 days left before I’m back and I don’t care anymore about school! We watched Super Size Me in health care and that’s so gross! The other exchange partner from Switzerland and I had a big conversation with our English teacher because he totally wants we do a test our last day of school which is weird and of course, we don’t want to do it! In American history, I got an 87% at my American Revolution test and I’m pretty happy! That’s it for today! See you soon! Bye

Hey! Il reste plus que 10 jours et je suis de retour et je m’en fiche complètement de l’école maintenant! On a regardé Super Size Me en santé, c’est assez dég.  L’autre correspondante suisse et moi avons une grande conversation avec notre prof d’anglais car il veut qu’on fasse un test le dernier jour d’école et bien sûr on n’a pas envie ! En histoire de l’Amérique, j’ai reçu un 87% à mon test sur la révolution Américaine et je suis assez heureux ! C’est tout pour aujourd’hui ! A tout bientôt ! Bye

Hi everybody! I have to explain you something which is really different with the gymnasium in Switzerland. In Canada’s high school, if the teacher is absent, they always have a supply teacher which means they’re pretty much never free, even for one period. Today was special because we were free in health care because our teacher wasn’t here and no supply teacher came! It was awesome to be free and to hang out in the school! It was really a big exception though. Except this, there was nothing exceptional… Bye

Hellos tout le monde! Il faut que je vous explique quelque chose qui est vraiment très différent du gymnase en Suisse. Dans les écoles supérieures canadiennes, si un prof est absent, il y a toujours (à quelques exceptions) un prof remplaçant ce qui signifie qu’ils ont presque jamais congé, même pour une période.  C’était assez spécial aujourd’hui car on a eu congé en santé car la prof n’était pas là et que aucun remplaçant n’est venu ! C’était assez cool de pouvoir glander dans l’école ! En tout cas c’était vraiment une exception. Appart ça, il ne s’est rien passé d’exceptionnel… Bye

Hi! It was the first day of the school week and I’m already so tired. I don’t think I told you but Conny got a job for a few months in Sarnia as a teacher so she can drive us every morning which is awesome because I hate to take the school bus! As you know, we have this commercial project in communication technology and I’m actually pretty happy because I start to be decent with Photoshop. I don’t have anything else to say about my day except we had 3 supply teachers today (on 4 classes) so I’m going to tell you the biggest reasons I can’t wait to be back in Switzerland! The biggest reason is that we live so far away from everything and it’s so hard to organize and when I’ll be back it will seem to me all is so easy to do! I also can’t wait to go on the computer more than 30 minutes a day. I want to wake up later than 6am to go to school because it’s too early! Finally, the biggest reason is that I actually miss you all so bad! I’m back in 12 days and I can’t wait to see you! Bye!

Hello! C’était le premier jour d’école de la semaine et je sui déjà crevé comme pas possible. Je ne crois pas que je vous ai dit mais Conny a trouvé un travail à Sarnia entant qu’enseignante. C’est pire cool car elle peut nous amener à l’école  tous les matins et on n’a pas besoin de prendre le bus qui est long et pas confortable. Comme vous le savez surement déjà, on a un projet de publicité en technologies de communication et je suis assez content car je deviens pas mal bon avec Photoshop. Je n’ai rien d’autre à vous dire à propose de ma journée (appart qu’on a eu 3 profs remplaçants pour 4 cours) donc je vais vous dire pour quelles raisons j’ai vraiment envie de rentrer. On est loin de tout ici donc c’est impossible d’avoir une vie sociale intense et ça m’agace car j’aimerais passer plus de temps avec mes amis de l’école mais c’est impossible aussi car l’organisation est trop dure ici. Quand je serais de retour, tout me semblera plus facile à ce sujet et je m’en réjouis ! Je me réjouis aussi d’aller sur l’ordinateur un peu plus que 30 minutes par jour. Les réveils sont durs ici à 6heures donc je me réjouis de me réveiller à 7h30 à nouveau ! Finalement, la plus grande raison est que vous me manquez tous beaucoup et que je me réjouis de vous revoir ! Hi! Today was quiet boring because I had to work for my health care project. I have to make a brochure on the muscular system and another one on the skeletal system which is long! Fortunately it didn’t take me all the day and I had time to relax and chill! We came back at Alvinston around 9pm and I slept directly because I was so tired! Bye

Salut! C’était une journée assez ennuyeuse car j’ai dû travailler sur mon projet de santé. Je dois créer une brochure sur le squelette et une autre sur les muscles et c’est assez long ! Heureusement, ça ne m’a pas pris toute la journée et j’ai eu le temps de glander et de me relaxer ! On est retourné à Alvinston autour des 9 heures et je suis directement aller dormir car j’étais très fatigué ! Bye

Hi! In exactly two weeks, I’ll be back in Switzerland and I’m so excited! I woke up pretty late and started my day with a massive lunch because there was Conny’s cousin and her husband at home. We stayed the first part of the afternoon and she drove us then at St-Marys at Dean’s dad house. Neil and I went to Tim Horton’s and I bought an “everything bagel with cheese cream” (my favourite) and an extra-large hot chocolate. It was so cold outside (around 0 degree); fall is totally back and it’s supposed to snow the next day so we’ll see. We stayed at home in the evening chilling on computers… Tomorrow is a holyday (Thanksgiving) so we don’t have to go to school! Bye

Salut! Dans exactement deux semaines, je serais de retour à la maison et je me réjouis beaucoup! Je me suis réveillé assez tard et j’ai commencé ma journée avec un monstre dîner car la cousine de Conny et son mari étaient à la maison. On est resté à la maison la première partie de l’après-midi et elle nous a amenés chez le père de Dean aux environs de 16 heures. Neil et moi sommes allés au Tim Horton’s et j’ai acheté un « everything bagel avec du fromage frais » (mon préféré) et un chocolat chaud extra-large. Il faisait vraiment froid dehors (0 degré) ; l’automne est totalement de retour et il va surement neiger demain. La soirée, on est resté à la maison à glander sur les ordinateurs… On n’a pas besoin d’aller à l’école demain car c’est un jour saint (Thanksgiving) ! A bientôt
